Hands down one of the most fun activities of being engaged was having the opportunity to take one last girls trip before tying the knot. My amazing maid of honor and the rest of my girlfriends got together to plan the most amazing bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas.

First of all, the resort was absolutely flawless with infinity pools galore and gorgeous views of the beach from the pristine white casita style buildings. If you are looking for a gorgeous resort in Cabo, check out Cabo Azul Resort – it is a quick drive to and from the airport and it’s situated outside of the main town, in case clubbing isn’t your thing. If that isn’t enough, two for one drinks during happy hour and the diablo shrimp tacos weren’t bad either ;)

Our first full day in Cabo, we took full advantage and went into town and chartered a boat to take us on a tour of the gorgeous blue ocean and the surrounding landmarks. Not only did we fly along the coast blasting our favorite tunes and cracking a few Modelos, but we checked out the picturesque arches and learned some history of the little fishing town. Next, we posted up on the beach for the next hour or two to catch some sun, then back to the hotel to get ready before a night out on Squid Roe, which was an experience in itself.

Saturday was my birthday and we spent the entire day poolside, I mean with a pool that awesome, why would you ever leave Cabo Azul? Dinner was planned for Flora Farms, a delicious farm to table restaurant in San Jose de Cabo. In honor of my birthday and bachelorette, I dressed up in a fun white lace dress and all my gal pals wore various shades of red. We turned heads just about everywhere we walked that night. The food, cocktails and ambience was to die for! I will definitely be making a trip back the next time I vacation in Cabo. Some of my favorites were the tomato soup, rosemary ham & egg pizza, burrata toast and of course the Perro Perdido (lost dog) cocktail.

Knowing how much times these ladies spent planning such a fantastic weekend, I wanted to show them some gratitude and picked up a couple of fun items to add to the welcome bag my maid of honor was putting together. The item with the most wow factor was the personalized krazy straw, at only $5 a piece I knew I had to get these custom bad boys for each girl. Knowing we were going to be lounging poolside and venturing down to the beach, I opted for some brightly colored Turkish towels, which were practical and a nice memento to have once the trip was over. My maid of honor also sourced some great oversized bikini tees, cozies, temporary tattoos and hangover kits to round out the gift bag.
